2005	Stuart Mason	In recognition of his inspirational support for a fellow member of the group.
2004	Jane Biesz	For the sheer rate at which she has progressed with her riding skills, and who has shown an indomitable approach to her riding far and above what could be reasonably expected from one of such limited riding experience.

The Ferret of the Year Award is presented, at the Annual Social Event, to an outstanding Ferret, in recognition of some achievement, contribution, or other notable aspect of them, or their activities during the previous biking season. Each year's new Trophy holder is chosen, principally by the current holder, entirely at their discretion. If the current holder were unable to nominate the next recipient, for whatever reason, then the decision passes back to the Ferret Keepers.

The award is not necessarily made routinely every year.
