2005 Season's Social Event

The Sunday morning saw most people up and about early-ish for breakfast and ready to book out and make the short run up to Bolton Abbey at about 9:30.  Skippy was greatly admired for his stalwart arrival on his bike, all the way from Bognor Regis on the Saturday - a total of 320 miles - but we reckon that most people were just perfectly happy that they were in their cars as we started milling around in the hotel's car park - removing heavy frost from the windscreens!  Skip had to remove the heavy frost from his seat!!!

By 10:00 we were parking up at Bolton Abbey and making our way on a very pleasant walk through the stunningly scenic woods and along the banks of the Wharfe to the awesome Strid.
